Nutrition for Life
Participate in an overview of nutrition and its role in disease prevention and wellness. Learn the relationship between nutrient intake and health. Receive information on making informed food choices and developing sound eating habits to promote optimal health. Participate in discussions about achieving and maintaining a healthy weight to promote overall health and well being. Learn how to read labels, and develop a healthy eating plan to facilitate being a smart consumer. Start applying your new knowledge to your daily routine, and impact your health and well being for life.

Yoga/Pilates
Improve your strength, flexibility, focus, and peace of mind by adding this balanced exercise program into your life. This class is a mixture of yoga and pilates designed to help improve your strength, bone density, and balance. It will also help you become more focused, improve your breathing capacity, and cultivate a sense of peace. Bring a yoga mat, Mexican blanket or a thick towel, and a strap.

Motorcycle Rider Education
Driver’s Education for Adults/Motorcycle Rider Education (5.7100)(3869)(091318) A state approved, California Highway Patrol administered motorcycle safety course. This basic one weekend course is for new and beginning riders with no formal training or for persons desiring to get back into motorcycling. It is required by the state for riders under 21. Motorcycles and helmets are provided. Upon successful completion, students receive DMV DL389 certificate which waives DMV riding skill test. Students receive a CMSP graduation card that may entitle them to insurance discounts.

Traffic Violator School
Driver Education For Adults/Traffic Violator School (5.7100)(3158)(091415): Class for drivers who have received authorization to attend a traffic violator class and/or for persons who wish to improve their driving skills. Call (805) 579-6200 ext. 1700 for class dates and to reserve a seat. Please arrive 15 minutes before class with valid driver’s license, picture identification and court papers.
