Upholsterer/Master Course
(2007)(068367) Learn upholstery techniques for a Vocational Certificate or discuss special projects with the instructor. This course is designed to prepare vocational trainees to perform various technical skills in all phases of the upholstery industry. A vocational certificate is issued upon successful completion of this course which includes instruction in:
  • Anchoring & Springs
  • Reupholstery & Furniture Construction
  • Fabric Types & Layouts
  • Frames & Padding
  • Cushion Assembly
  • Upholstery Skirts & Fittings
Special projects may include, but are not limited to: lamp shades, window treatments, bed spreads, duvets, pillow shams, slipcovers, table cloths, napkins, placemats, patio cushions, patio umbrellas, pet pillows and birdcage covers.
