Students learn notary laws and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for people who wish to serve the community and the State, and need a fulfilling career as a valuable employee or the owner of their own business. Course provides the new or previously commissioned Notary with the education to pass the State examination and the skills to be a successful Notary. There is a growing need for Notaries in the expanding financial, real estate, business and law professions.

Passing the state exam is the first step in the process toward becoming a commissioned Notary for the State of California. A list of examination sites including CSUN, Northridge will be provided at the class.

NOTE: As of January 1, 2005, ALL new applicants to be a Notary Public, and ALL renewing notaries MUST show proof that they have taken a State approved class before they will be allowed to take the State Notary Public exam.

(0612916) Loan and Mortgage companies need trained and certified Notaries capable of dealing with the documents in a typical loan package. Just being a Notary Public is not good enough today. This class provides the working Notary with the duties and responsibilities of a “Loan Signing Specialist” and the knowledge and skills to deal with the multitude of documents in a typical loan package. With this training and certification you will be on your way to being successful as a Loan Signing Specialist. At the end of the class the student will take an examination. Upon passing this examination, the student will be awarded a certificate stating that they are a “Certified Loan Signing Specialist.” This examination is at the student’s option. The exam is required and must be passed in order for the student to be certified as a Loan Signing Specialist.

Instructor: A Certified Notary Public Loan Signing Specialist Instructor will conduct the class and administer the examination.
