Basic Academics
(1.1009) This class is designed for individuals who want to learn to read or improve their reading skills, offered in partnership with the Ventura County Library’s reading program for adults. Students work one-on-one with volunteer tutors to meet their personal learning goals. If you or someone you know would like to be a better reader or would like to become a volunteer tutor, call the Reading Program for Adults at (805) 641-4484. Class is FREE.
Literacy Tutor Training

Project HELP - Tutoring Your Child
Reading, Math, Language Arts Remediation
(5.5300) (072718) A cooperative program between Simi Valley Unified School District elementary schools and the adult school. Parents will work with their students on easy-to-use computer software that helps their students to remediate at their own pace and academic level. Please bring a referral form from the student’s teacher. Referral forms are included in the Project Help registration packet or can be printed directtly from this website. (Click here). Project HELP registration packets will be available in the Counseling Office, Room 402, during school hours.
